I have posted the following docs, which might be of interest:
* Working tax credit snapshot data to April 2010. The certified annual figures for 2008/9 are due out in August 2010.
* An article from the Office of National Statistics, comparing a range of stats about children and young people across the country - definitely worth a look.
* A handout about the brain development of very young children - based on the book "What every parent needs to know"
* Information about the Learning Exchange, set up by Continyou - this is currently being used by the holiday pilots, but is open to all, so worth a look.
I'd appreciate some feedback about whether some all or none of these are useful. I will continue to post documents, links and information I think you might want to see - so it would be helpful to know what you found useful / interesting and what was of no value. You can add comments under each of the docs (not sure how it all works, but it's worth giving it a go...), or post a reply to this noticeboard post.
